Meet Harley D, Our Newborn Cria

Another first for us here at Mornin’ Glory Farm…

Yesterday, I received a text from my dad (I was at work), he asked “did you know you had a baby alpaca?”… Oh no, I did not! Eeek! I drove home and there he was! We had a newborn CRIA laying in the pasture with his mom, Gertrude. He feels like a soft little Labradoodle... Gestation for alpacas is 11.5-12 months. 12 VERY LONG MONTHS!
